The background of my Avatar - Le'c Necra

Well, since im nearly done with my Avatar, I decided to make my background. I couldnt find a good background in google images because people just dont go around taking photos of rainbow forests/plains in Earth. Therefore, I got a picture of the following:

6th Draft

Wow, I have a lot of drafts! haha, For this draft, i decided to use both the spectrum and the sea floor. This is because the Spectrum suits my race of people more but i personally like the sea floor masking better:





The mouth is left blank for the lips. I was planning to use these lips;

Alone, I reckon it looks okay. But when I put it on my Avatar,,,,,ughhhhh it looked so bad! Unfortuneatly, my hand decided to click 'exit' then 'don't save' by itself so the image of my avatar did not make it.. How sad..

The spectrum is better blended innnn...ithink.. Um, I should put colours onto the ear and the neck. But I'm not quite sure if this is better than the sea floor one. I'm thinking about changing my personality profile and do the 'rainbow' sea floor thinngy

Ok, the sea floor looked 'good' but it ddnt follow my personality profile, therefore, I went and looked for pictures of 'faintly glowing skin'. nothing i wanted came up but i saw a picture of a 'spectrum'. Sooooooo, i tried it on my avatar... I masked it onto his face but it doesnt blend in.. Well, the bell rang by the time i did this soooo it looks better in my 4th Draft:)

Ok, looking at my personality profile, i decided to start with leaf hairs o n a random dude


i started with red leaves and put orage/yellow leaves in the second row..
he looks like a abnormal sunflower.. haha


This is my second draft. I finished the leaves. I got a picture of the sea floor with the rainbow thing ( that does not look like a rainbow) and overlayed it onto the face of my avatar.. It looks pretty good, i reckon but it does not 'follow' my personality profile.. ok, i'm going to try putting some colour onto the sea floor layer..

Personality Profile

-Habitat
Imagine a forest. I bet your thinking of a place full of green, green and more green. Not in “Le’c Necra”. To possibly imagine Le’c Necra, you have to start with an ordinary forest on a canvas. Now, imagine squrting out every colour of paint onto your canvas. Get the brush and paint every green a different colour(different shade of green for the already green parts). Then add in some big, rainbow grassy plains, tall trees, pink fluffy clouds and an splash of orange (the sky). Oh, by the way, there are no rainbow unicorns galloping around in Le’c Necra. Even if there was, they would be killed instantly by the Ertsnoms. You see, in a seemingly happy and cheery place of rainbow, lies a group hidieous monsters –the only non-rainbow thing in Le’c Necra, waiting for animals and/or space travellers attracted to the colourfulness of the planet. The blue trees with colourful leaves of Le'c Necra produces heaps of berries, the only food source for herbivores, other than the leaves which were definitely not a popular chose of food source. There are millions of different types of berries, all different shapes and sizes.

-Physical features and reasons
The native people of Le’c Necra are called the Necra'ans. The planet they live in is full of dangers, so to survive, the race of people evolved over time. They originated from humans -French people, to be precise. To survive in a colourful, foresty world, the Necra’ans gradually grew colorful, leaf-like hair. Their hair camouflages them in the forest/bush from predators, Etsnom mostly. Their skin is also colourful and rainbowish but only their face has shiny streaks down/across their face. It is often misinterpreted as their emotions; however, this is not true, they are just part of their camouflage which matches their leafish hair. The glows of their skin are usually genetic. They seem to be 'just' rainbow but each Necra’an has a different colour which can not be interpreted by the human eye. Since the sun is up for about 28.5 eh, their eyes did not develope night vision. Their eyes are used to the long exposure of the sunlight as well as sleeping in full daylight. The colour of their pupil varies a lot but it is a dark colour to absorb the light and use as 'fuel' to the glows on the face, etc. The Necra’ans rely on their eyes much more than the humans do because they do not have a nose. Their teeth are similar to humans. However, they rarely show their teeth because, it is a sign of disrespect. They often do this when they are furious about something (which is very, very rare) or feel they need to protect something. The Necra’ans are born with white lips and they usually stay white until around the age of 4.8 (6years old in Earth). From then, their lip gets "dyed". Each Necriaian has favourite types of berries. Their lips get into the colour of the berry which portrays their personality. The colour of the berries also affect their teeth and tongue

-Personality/emotions
The colours of the berries portray their personality, therefore, their lips often have a number of different colours.

The Necra'ans are generally a group of bright, cheery race that match their physical characteristics as well as their habitat. They are the type of beings that are easy-going and patient. They do not get mad easily. If they do get mad, they have a very good reason. The only creatures they openly show their teeth is the Etsnoms. They are the ancient enemy of Necra'ans. The Necra'ans started trading with humans since the 4th Era because these two races have got acquinted when the astronauts landed on Earth and nearly got eaten up by a Etsnom. Le'c Necra does not provide a suitable habitat for humans and therefore they do not come often. However, they do keep in touch and trade once a year. The Necra'ans trade their herb berries which significantly decreased death tolls from cancer. In return, humans give them protective clothes and offered weapons but the Necra'ans were a peaceful race and therefore refused the weapons. The protective clothing saved the Necra'ans from the Etsnom but, since humans did not invent rainbow clothes which help camouflage, the Necra'ans cut them to make them short before they wear it. This is to reveal as much of their skin possible for camoflague but still receive protection to their weak parts of their body.
